SANTO DOMINGO SLEEPING BEAUTY TURQUOISE HEISHI JOC-LA NECKLACE_10 Ray Lovato

Ray Lovato is the award winning Santo Domingo artist of this rare & beautiful 3 strand sleeping beauty turquoise heishi fantail necklace with double Joc-la. Shown is the traditional squaw wrap which the Santo Domingo artists use to complete the necklace so that it may be worn in comfort.  This measures total 20" total from end to end. Joc-la alone measures 5".
The Heishi measure anywhere between 4 1/2 to 8 mm all hand cut beads tapering. All turquoise with the exception of 8 beads at the top of the Joc-la necklace under the squaw wrap on the Joc-la.
Sleeping beauty mine is no longer in operation making this stone valuable collectable and rare in its availability and in its beauty.
