 Product Description

SOLD Leonard & Edith Lonjose are the Zuni artists of this Apache Gan Dancer Concho Belt.

This husband and wife team made jewelry he, from 1950's to 2004, then she, made

jewelry from 1950's to the 1980's. This concho belt consists of 9 oval vertical multi inlay

Apache Gan Dancers conchos measuring 2"H x 2"W, made of silver, mother of pearl, coral,

turquoise, jet, and yellow melon shell and one rectangular buckle which measure 1 7/8"H x 2 7/8"L.

Each of the conchos are mounted onto the leather with copper backing.

Gan Dancers alone measure 1 5/8" H x 1 1/4"W. Shortest belt can be is 22"L and longest

it can currently be is 41"L any smaller or larger you will need to get a different piece of leather for the belt.

Belt measures 1 1/8"W. Silver has leaf and rope design accenting Apache Dancer.

Belt is old but no stones are missing and is in excellent condition for its age.

Black leather belt is old looks distressed but looks great as is as it matches the age of the concho belt.

Purchased from a private collection whom had owned it for decades. Leonard Lonjose B 1934-D 2004.

Rare piece collectable.
