SOLD Purchased from a private collection is this beautiful Zuni
cluster turquoise concho belt with 12 conchos
plus one buckle in link format so this becomes adjustable for the
wearer as you connect the buckle to best
fitting link depending what you are wearing. Buckle measures
1 7/8"H x 2 1/8"W and is slightly larger than
all other concho's which each measure 1 5/8"W x 1 7/8"W.
End to end belt measures 36". The largest this
belt can currently be at its current configuration is 36".
Every since the value of silver and gold have risen
everyone wants to know the weight of our items, so the
belt weighs 264.9 grams. As I was told by
professional jewelers in their business it is difficult to
really accurately define the value of the turquoise
or the value of the sterling silver when they are both
connected as in a pieces of jewelry, such as this
or any item we carry. I was told by professionals
in the business, that unless you separate the turquoise
from the silver them weigh them separately the
weight of the item doesn't mean all that much, as far as
determining an items "value". Then there is the "artistic beauty"
of each item. Once you know the weight
of an item, as a layman, what monetary value then
do you place on any item then scientifically?
That's why they call this "art" as it is not a science.
What price is "beauty"? If by wearing this piece...
if it makes you feel like a million dollars when you
wear it then its a piece of jewelry no matter what
the price-its worth it! Over the course of your life...
you are realistically looking at pennies a day to
own this belt....or any of our items for that matter...
Do the math and you will agree...
Your worth it and if you don't buy this...
someone else will as everything sells here...
and there is something for everyone...
several somethings as a matter of fact...
Our items are like our customers...
each very individualistic... Our items are all
one of a kind...
once this sells there will be no others...
Bring out the individualism, in you!
You too are one of a kind!
To make this concho belt longer one
could always add sterling silver additional
rings as shown that link conchos together.
They could be added to the last link.
The other option is that you can add one
or more additional rings to all other existing rings.
Gorgeous turquoise with both blue and green tones.
Since turquoise is very porous the stones each
will absorb oils differently each time you wear it.
This gives the turquoise different coloration's ranging
from blue to green. Unsigned but looks similar to
Alice Quam's work. You know that if this was signed
"Alice Quam,"you would be paying alot more than $2900....
Now you have the opportunity to
"Buy it now" and make this belt yours today!
Thanks for looking!
