this lovely 1980's 2 strand all bird fetish necklace featuring one large bird at the base of

a two strand serpentine heishi necklace.  The one large bird at the base measures 

2 3/4"H x 2 5/8"W. All smaller birds average 1/8"H x 1"L.

Each 2 strand side has an equal amount of birds on it "15,"

so total number of white birds is 30.

The mm measurement of the tubular shaped

dark green serpentine beads measure 2.93mm.

End to end this measures 27" L shortest can be worn

30 1/4"L is the longest this necklace can be worn.

When worn it looks like the space made between the birds

has been well planned out

as each bird falls into a space onto the serpentine

creating a nice flow of birds.

Zuni carver of this necklace is Brian Zunie.

Clasp is sterling with every other silver chain

shaped into a rectangular twisted rope design.
