Looks like they are ready for takeoff...

These birds can run as fast as 20 miles an hour.

They can fly but not much more than 10 feet to get on top of a car or house

they prefer however running on the road...hence... "Roadrunners".

This adorable Roadrunner pair measures 3"H X 2"W X 1 1/2"D. 

Since both are looking downwards at the road you might consider 

your placement so you can see them by placing them up a little higher
