ZUNI LARGE PENDANT CORAL CABOCHONS SAWTOOTH BEZEL A.Q.

Acquired from a private collection and now available for your consideration

this lovely large Zuni silver pendant with 7 sawtooth bezels containing beautiful 

quality rare coral signed A.Q.  This piece was one of several featured pieces in a

magazine ad we had advertised in to best advertise only some of our beautiful items of jewelry

that are for sale at the Mudhead Gallery in Denver Colorado in LoDo.

Weighing 72.7grams, this piece is stunning on.

This piece measures 3 1/8"H x 2 1/8"W. 

Pendant currently will hold a chain 1/4"H x 1/8"W.

This stunning coral pendant could be worn as a choker, mid length or as a longer pendant

below chest level.  Also you could stack it with other varying levels of necklaces...

This will be a nice edition to your collection either way

as it is one of a kind... you won't see yourself coming and going 

as you pass by all others admiring you as you are wearing your beautiful jewelry.

There is a moratorium on coral so it is not allowed out of the oceans

due to all of the oil spills damaging the coral beds...

We have such a great collection of coral due to the fact that we have been collecting it for 40 years...

I also can imagine this as a nice bolo for either a man or a woman that could be worn as

either a trapezoid shape or as a teardrop shape.

You would need to hire a jeweler who could do a figure 8 to hold a nice heavy bolo strap

to support the weight of the pendant which is heavy.

Also due to all the coral stones your jeweler would need to be able to

cold solder the figure 8 sterling silver strap holder

to not overheat the coral.  This mechanism would allow for easy

glide of the bolo straps, rather than using a clasp type bolo tie

manufactured clasp which are normally limited as to the size of strap it will accommodate.

Usually the manufactured bolo clutches we have found,

will only accommodate a small somewhat short leather bolo strap.

So when you see the beauty of this particular piece I see the

size the weight the scalloped edging the sawtooth bezels and the beautiful rich coral color...
