Zuni 1980s Oval Multi-Color Raised Inlay Ram Kachina Concho Belt Andrew Dewa

Andrew Dewa 1960's-2001 is the Zuni artist of this beautiful oval concho belt with

multi-color raised inlay Ram kachina dancer design. Belt signed on a piece of

rectangular silver overlay A. DEWA under that ZUNI verifying that it is his.

Belt consists of "10" conchos including the buckle which is the same size as all other conchos.

Conchos sit on a tan leather belt 1 1/2"W. End to end belt with conchos measure 43"L.

Each concho measures 3 3/4"H x 2 3/4"W. Although the Ram Kahcina design

is repeated still, no two conchos are identical. With all these colors and based

on the size of the conchos and the style, this can be worn by a man or a woman.

This not only needs to fit your waist but mainly your "bold personality plus"!

Stones consist of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise,Mediterranean Oxblood Coral, Abalone

shell, yellow snail shell and mother of pearl shell & white snail shell...

making this belt not only..."Colorful" but also making it... a "show stopper"!

We have been told that this is the only other belt made by Andrew Dewa

similar to this known and that the Zuni Tribe has the only other one.

Purchased from a private collection, this is... "a museum piece".
