Just acquired from a private collection and now available for your review this lovely oval sterling silver ring signed Victor Beck.
This ring is absolutely stunning and one of a kind...
The designer is Victor Beck and is an award winning Navajo artist.
In this design this is stylized elongated silver ring in which the bezel is first created and then the stones are added afterwards to fit the bezel. What a wonderful color of stones and design. Yellow pearl shell is the shimmery color of yellow on each side of center then at center is a strip of multiple inlay pieces of cobblestone turquoise and a piece of coral to accent the ring. Ring settings have a black shadowbox effect encircling the setting giving the ring yet one more depth and dimension making it actually a 3 dimensional ring design.
This is a size 7. In this ring instead of having the rope of silver sitting around or near the stone he decided to place it just under the flat piece of silver the setting is placed in. I have never seen this sort of creation in my many years 40 of working around Native American jewlelry. Always something whether its new, old pawn it's fresh at Mudhead Gallery something unique to be discovered each and every day...
