SOLD Navajo turquoise rings 1970's purchased from private estate. Signed WS this ring measures 1"H x 1 3/4" W domed. Size 9 1/2. Ring is not real heavy,is fairly light. Turquoise being very porous takes on different color as it ages. Each stone absorbs oil from the skin as you wear it also each of us have different amounts of oil in our skin so thats when you see the variety in each stone of color. A novis may think that this is a flaw whereas collectors everywhere like to see this variety of color of stones in one piece of jewelry as this adds beauty naturally to the item.
