Pottery Acoma Polychrome Storyteller Wedding Vase Judy Lewis SOLD

SOLD Judy Lewis is the Acoma artist of this rare and unique combination polychrome storyteller and wedding vase.

This vase measures 6 1/2"H x 4 1/2"W x 3 1/5"D.  The vase is decorated with bird motif on

one side of the wedding vase and opposite a Kokopelli playing the flute.  On top of the

twisted handles of the wedding vase are two lady bugs.  The children, a boy and a girl, are climbing

on each of the the spouts of the wedding vase. As the boy is amused by a bird who has just landed

on the wedding vase spout in front of him,whereas the girl whos climbing up on the other spout of the

wedding vase is being entertained by a butterfly which has just landed on her arm.

Very whimsical piece that would make a nice gift to give for a wedding, with so many weddings

coming up this year.
