SOLD This large Navajo floor rug from the Klagetoh area of the reservation dates to the 1930s.
It was woven entirely in homespun Rambouillet-cross fleeces. Since it is more than twice as long as wide,
it is designated a runner. The textile is of a natural palette with aniline-dye reds added.
It is typically Klagetoh in pattern and overall execution. This rug features the large
elongated diamond motif with stacked diamonds within it.
An inner border of stacked diamonds is outlined by a serrated border in red,
which is then outlined by an outer border of zigzags and diamonds.
The textile is in excellent condition. This measures 8' 3"L x 3' 7"W.
