1930's Pawn stamped link box & bow style turquoise concho belt.
Belt has one rectangular buckle measuring 2 1/2"L x 2"W. All other conchos 8,
are oval and measure 2-1 3/4"w to 2 1/2"-2 1/8"L.
There are 7 bows that measure 1 1/8"w x just under 2"L.
Belt total length measures 30 1/2" L.
Weight is 270.2grams.
Belt is as shown. I have added many more photos to this listing.
Along the way and many years of owners of this belt someone along the way
decided to alter this belt by adding one more concho
to make it just a tad longer I am guessing. Of course each concho is hand made
and the added center concho is slightly larger than the other oval conchos making this concho belt even more unique.
This concho would more than likely currently be located at your back centrally located so not real noticable to passerbys.
You will be aware of it because I just informed you of this fact. Many collectors would not mind nor care
because they understand the nature of collecting old pawn and believe it adds to the beauty of the piece.
They feel the same way when they see the stones have changed color in their Turquoise bracelet.
Also when they see an old ring is for sale and it has a cracked Turquoise stone in it they still buy it because they
understand the nature of this art and see beauty in all things because that is how they think.
That does not say that you will feel or think the same way and see beauty in all things in this way.
We are not here to sell you anything you don't want but instead to find what it is that you would want.
Now if you find that this concho slightly larger than the others bothers you then please see our "other items"
where all pieces are matching. This market is for a certain nitch of collectors out there
and it is not for just anyone or everyone.
We want you to concentrate on what it is you love and
buy what you love and not to buy what you don't love.
Currently we have approximately 60 concho belts from which you may choose.
Some are link some are on leather. Soon I will have these all listed.
Not all are yet listed online.
Thanks for looking!
