1920's Pawn stamped box & bow style concho belt currently on brown leather.
Concho Belt has one rectangular buckle (with a total of 6 turquoise stones on buckle),
measuring 2 1/4"w x 3"L with 6 conchos(each oval concho having a centered turquoise stone),
and 4 bows,(each having a centered turquoise stone). Each concho is 2 1/2"w x 3"L.
Each bow is 2 1/2"L x 1"W.When you place all the conchos and bows together
they measure 27" in length leaving 13 3/4" of leather remaining.
The total belt measures 41" L. (This belt will accommodate up to a 41" waistline.)
This belt is considered rare & collectable. We purchased this belt "as is" meaning
it is old and toward the end between the last two oval concho belts there is a
missing bow as this is referred to as being a Box and Bow Concho Belt.
I am sure that a talented jeweler could make a like piece matching to fit
in between the two conchos. Another option is to remove one of the oval conchos and make it into a bolo or pin or pendant.
I am updating this photo and adding more as
when I first took this photo I was just trying to list all concho beklts online. We have approximately a total of 60 concho belts in our current inventory. Not all are online.
With newer technology better cameras we now can provide much better and clearer photos.
Thanks for looking!
