This measures 7 1/2"H x 4"W x 5!/2"D.  It is hand carved out of the root of the cottonwood tree.

it is hand painted.  This is one of the more detailed Santa Claus Kachinas that we have seen by Andrew Sahmie.

His works are so well received because he is a master wood carver putting incredible detail in each piece he carves.
