Acquired from a private collection this rare bronze
"Silent Pardners" by famed artist Harry Jackson.
Dated 1973 this bronze measures 13 3/4"H X 15"L X 5 1/2"D.
Bronze patina is dark brown mounted on a brown
marble base. There is one number on this bronze "19".
This bronze is one of a cowboy riding a quarter horse.
When you look at the piece carefully, this bronze tells a story.
Cowboy knowledgable and with all the right attire,
with a rope in his hands and gloves and chaps on,
he has a rope in both hands on the right
hand he has formed a rather large loop as if he is
getting ready to rope a cow calf or a steer.
His steady and reliable pardner, his horse is his
"Silent Pardner" and together they have
formed a strong bond over the years being with one another.
This piece is breathtakingly beautiful.
Cowboys know just what that bond is like, no other.
This piece will take you to a place and time,
add interest to your home or office, not only that but will
give true meaning to a special pardnership that is
desireable between man and animal and that is truly irreplaceable.
Only a true animal lover can understand that bond
that is formed when partnerships such as this exist.
