SOLD Signed Wayne C., this large silver bracelet displays a total of 8 brilliantly natural colored turquoise nuggets which are asymmetrical and a variety of shapes and sizes. The silver edging is typical of 1970's style when Zuni artists Wayne and Virginia Quam worked on their designs together. Although large stones such as this are indicative of works by Navajo artisans typically,this is not your typical Navajo bracelet as it is made by Zuni artist. This measures 2"W at center tapering down to 3/4" at bracelet's opening. Depth of stones are 1/4" and they extend all the way to the end of the bracelet and they have a nice typography. Measuring the inside of the bracelet all the way around including the opening it measures 7 1/8". Opening alone measures 1 1/2". This bracelet can not be any larger otherwise it would indeed fall off. This bracelet really needs to fit just "as it is" and it should not be bent as stones can not be compromised as if you just arbitrarily bend this bracelet anywhere the stones could break and we don't want to be responsible for this happening if after you buy it now and after receiving the bracelet decide to tweek it yourself in order to make it fit. Measure your wrist very carefully with a soft cloth measuring tape to get the size just right. Hold the cloth tape just as you would like to see your bracelet fit not too tight and not too loose. Allow for some wiggle room and always remember to relax your wrist instead of compromising and bending the bracelet each time you put on and off the bracelet and put the bracelets on and off above the wrist bone then let the bracelet slip down to your wrist. Bracelet is unisex and is a great attention getting piece.
