Lloyd Tsalabutie is the Zuni artist who created this beautiful multi-color raised inlay design
bracelet with heavy gauge silver. "Raised inlay" is different from "regular inlay" as it rises
above the line of silver whereas regular inlay sets below the line of silver. Stones consist of
turquoise, coral, lapis, yellow shell & mother of pearl shell. Inlay extends up until last 1/4"
of bracelet's opening. This bracelet measures 1 "W x 6 1/2" measuring the inside of the bracelet.
Braided silver design sits yet below either edge of silver on either side on raised inlay.
The outmost edge of silver then is at a 90 degree angle with a slight inward slant toward
inlay giving the entire bracelet a 3 dimensional effect when worn. Bracelet shape is very flat & is
really designed for someone who has more of a flat wrist rather than a round wrist.
This bracelet due to it's design can not be flexed at all... it needs to fit. Your wrist size in
this case will need to be just shy of 6 1/2" in order for it to be comfortable. Weighs 86.3 grams.
Even the inside of the bracelet has a design...of an etching of a flute player standing on a mesa,
playing his flute surrounded by a mountain mesa scene design. As are most jewelry items found
at The Mudhead Gallery in Denver, including this bracelet, they can be worn to look sporty or dressy...
really for your every occasion...
