Now available for your consideration this lovely old pawn bracelet in coral with multi-stones
in a wide cuff bracelet. We just had this bracelet's stones polished and it looks so much
better however they couldn't polish the stones of coral without polishing the entire
bracelet so it has been polished in its entirety. The updated photos of polished bracelet is
what you will be purchasing on this listing and as mentioned...the coral looks so much better polished.
Normally we do not polish old pawn pieces...
This is in a small size. Measuring the inside of the bracelet
all the way around including the bracelet's opening it measures 6 1/2".
bracelet's opening alone measures 1 1/4". Center of bracelet measures
1 1/4"H tapering down to a 7/8"H at bracelets opening.
This bracelet has to fit its current configuration
otherwise if you tried to size it stones would be loosened if you tried to maneuver it in or out.
This bracelet is a "real keeper" as it is one of a kind, and authorities are not allowing coral out of the ocean
as there are so many factors that have placed a moratorium on coral to further protect it
not allowing it to be harvested from the ocean. This makes the coral in the bracelet rare
in the fact that it takes 100 years for oxblood coral to grow to this degree and color and size.
Love all the silver work on this bracelet. Good old bracelets similar to this are nearly impossible to find.
This bracelet is signed Wayne C.. So that is Wayne Cheama he is from Zuni reservation.
We have far more collectors than we have bracelets...
This color of coral can only be found in the very depths of the ocean where divers in the
past had to dive to perilous depths just to find such lovely deep red oxblood coral.
We are showing just some of what we have been able to collect the past 40 years.
Our coral is not dyed nor treated... you try to find coral out there...that is all you will find.
The photo I have included showing one of our cases of jewelry with coral
gives you some idea of how much
jewelry we currently have at the Mudhead Gallery and why it may take a
very long time to list everything online...
For this reason...and so many more...this is why you shop at Mudhead Gallery...
Thanks for looking!
