Regular inlay is somewhat thinner whereas raised inlay is just that inlay which is raised up and therefore becomes thicker

so there is more stone in a raised inlay bracelet rather than just an inlay bracelet. 

It gives the bracelet another dimensional look. This bracelet also comes down onto the hand so when you are wearing

a long sleeved shirt you can more easily see the bracelet you are wearing.

With this bracelet and all inlay work you have to wear it while you are not working out, hiking or biking climbing.
