SOLD Charles Supplee is the artist of this 14 kt Gold Hopi bracelet with avanyu design.
This bracelet has a shiny gold exterior finish, with a brushed gold interior finish where
the avanyu design is inset. This design is a very positive reflective design that is a water
serpent symbol for many Native American Indian people, bringing water to the people of
a desert region. This design is often seen on Native American Indian Pottery, on the decor
& dress of the Hopi dancers, and Hopi Kachinas, in many Native jewelry designs, not only
Hopi but Navajo as well. This is a medium size bracelet that will fit a 6-6 1/4" size wrist.
When measuring the total distance with a cloth measuring tape the outside of the bracelet
end to end this bracelet measures 8 1/4"all the way around. If your wrist measures
at least 6" & then, no larger than 6 1/4"
then this bracelet will fit you. This bracelet has a nice quality weight to it, thickness
measuring 3/16th's of an inch in thickness. In order to capture the depth of the design
it needed to be a thicker bracelet than most 14kt gold bracelets are normally.
This bracelet measures 1 1/2" in width and it is slightly domed outward.
This designs follows the bracelet 1/2" from each end, as it becomes plain 14 kt Gold.
Bracelet weighs 139.2grams.
Charles Supplee with his great spirit of style & shape helps to capture the dramatic
