when you measure the inside of the bracelet all the way around including the bracelet's opening.  Opening alone measures 1 1/2"W.

With this information you can see that this bracelet could be made

up to 1/2" smaller however it could not be made any larger.

If this were made larger then the bracelet would fall off the wearer's wrist as there would not be enough material to hold onto the wrist.
