This is what people in general fail to realize...
Turquoise mines are being "mined out".
We have heard from several reliable sources that foreign entities are
buying up mines of turquoise to better dominate the market.
There is not an endless supply folks out there of turquoise.
For example...
We have been told
The sleeping beauty mine is closed.
You are looking at an item which is irreplaceable.
Once we sell this we can't just go out and order 20 more just like it.
This bolo measures
4 1/2"H x 3 3/8"W. This bolo has
nice heavy bolo straps and bolo tips.
End to end, this measures 25 1/4"L.
The bolo strap flattens out around
the neck allowing for additional comfort.
Please note that since we had purchased this item
Pete Gaspar has passed so the
price will reflect this. Dinah is currently 72 and has been working since the 70's.
We can not take these artists for granted.
We can not assume that artists will want to work into their 80's.
Once this item sells we can not replace this.
Please know that you are shopping on a website,
Mudhead Gallery where you have
the opportunity to own museum quality one of a kind items,
hand made by Native American artists made in the USA,
which has become a lost art in itself.
Thanks for looking!
