SOLD Estate Jewelry acquired and now ready for purchase.
Thank you for emailing us calling us or just dropping by
when you have pawn items you are no longer wearing
so we can find them a good home. Here now is just one of those pieces
of jewelry. This beautiful Hopi belt buckle rectangular in shape
features an asymmetrical piece of turquoise setting on top of silver and
when the second layer of silver is applied by overlaying onto the first layer this creates
Hopi overlay then the stone becomes a shadowbox design when it shows up in jewelry
just as this stone is displayed as it is. This buckle is rare in the way that seldom
do the Hopi use stones in their work, then rarely are they known for using shadowboxing
as their design. Navajo jewelry is more typical in their use of of the shadowbox designs.
This buckle can be worn as sporty or dressy. This belt buckle measures 1 1/8"H x 2 1/2"W,
keeper measures 1"W. Weight is 29.3 grams.
