Acquired from a private collection this
unique 1970's sandcast sterling silver Navajo made
link style concho belt, signed, ITC and Sterling artist Ira T Custer.
Concho belt is sandcast that is the design is created
by pouring liquid silver into a preformed design
in sand.
The concho belt style is considered link
where the two different patterns of design
first the main buckle a hand with a swirl
and then just a swirl connecting each
with a sterling silver link.
Additional links can always be added when and if need be.
Any reputable jeweler can make them for you.
This concho belt could also be worn as a necklace,
doubling your wearability as a piece of jewelry.
You can't do that with all concho belts
however with this one concho belt you are able to do this.
A great design and just one more item that we offer as one of a kind.
I like the fact that the flair of the pattern itself allows for
whatever wonderful fabric you are wearing to show through.
This total length measures 32". Each hand measures
1 1/2"W x 2 1/8"H. Each swirl measures 1 1/8"W x 1 1/4".
This symbol could be fire and water.
This symbol also could be the hand of man with water.
This concho belt is heavy weighing 324.10grams.
Thanks for looking!
