1940'S ESTATE PAWN TURQUOISE PIN NAVAJO STERLING SILVER STAMPWORK REPOSSE`

Acquired from a private estate this wonderful Turquoise pawn pin. 

Most likely made during the Fred Harvey era although we have not seen another one like it.

Pin is signed sterling has one oval turquoise center stone

with 4 smaller round turquoise stones on either side.  

Silver stampwork throughout and silver reposse` on

each end grace this unique beautiful piece. 

When you view the reverse side of pin you can see how 

the reposse`is pounded out from the back forward to the front to create the design. 

This is referred to as reposse`

it is different than silver overlay where the design is already created then

soldered on the top of the silver.  You can see which technique

has been used when you view our online Gallery.
