SANTO DOMINGO CASTLE DOME TURQUOISE HEISHI 3 STRAND TAB NECKLACE RAY LOVATO SOLD

SOLD Ray Lovato is the artist of this Santo Domingo 3 strand Castle Dome Turquoise Heishi Necklace. 

Ray was just now in the Gallery and he reminded us that this necklace is rare as it is made using

Castle dome Turquoise.

This measures anywhere between 24"-26" in length depending where you decide to connect the chain. 

Necklace consists of turquoise, lapis, sugilite, light orange spondelous spiny oyster shell, and white clam shell, and jet.

Wafers start out at 2" down from bottom of sterling silver cones, 5/8"W and at base of necklace graduates to 7/8"W. 

Initially this necklace was made using the squaw wrap technique as a closure.  We sent this to our jeweler

who replaced the squaw wrap with handmade sterling silver cones and chain for a more refined look to the necklace

as many of our customers prefer this to a squaw wrap technique. 

Nice heavy handmade stamped cones and chain have been adding to this necklace for wearability.
